About the Series

The Bharat Shah Leadership Speaker Series was established at Georgia State’s Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality, in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, by founder and CEO of Noble Investment Group, Mit Shah, in honor of his father, Dr. Bharat Shah, a highly respected and well-known leader and philanthropist.

Over the years, Mit has brought thousands of students and professionals into a living room for candid conversations with leadership icons and their personal journeys of struggle and perseverance.

The Hunter Hotel Investment Conference, in partnership with Noble Investment Group and the Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality Administration at Georgia State University, is proud to announce that James "Jim" F. Risoleo, president and chief executive officer of Host Hotels & Resorts, will headline the Bharat Shah Leadership Speaker Series at this year’s conference. Host, an S&P 500 company, is the largest lodging real estate investment trust (REIT) and one of the world’s foremost owners of luxury and upper-upscale hotels.
